how many miles to a tank????

hey guys

trying to plan our holidays and cost, doing a 900 odd mile tour round the north of scotland and the highlands.
does anyone know roughly how much it cost for a tank of fuel these days??
and a average how many miles i would get out a tank??

You should get with a well tuned engine 25 - 30 mpg but it all depends on how you drive it, I think the tanks are around about 40/50L (somewhere around there) which will cost you about £50/£60

I done approx 220miles to a tank (£49.00) over the weekend whilst travelling from Wales to Fistral so mostly motoways at ave 55mph, I am running 40's but these seem better than the standard carb set up. Hope this helps

i squeezed 300 miles out of a tank on trip but i was running on fumes for about 20 mins, 1.00AM and no where open to refuel :shock: i just had to keep going. Shes a standard 1600TP.

It took 11 gallons to refill so about 49L of juice.
