Anyone fitted a Huco electric fuel pump. If so what is the correct orientation, horizontal or vertical. If vertical does the inlet / outlet go at the top or the bottom?

Thanks

Huco fuel pump with relay and inertia switch fitted to my van. Yet to determine how the inertia switch will react to speed bumps, pot holes etc.

Why did you choose the Huco pump? I’m running a stock pump at the moment but may go electric in the future, either Huco or Carter maybe.

The best place to locate an electric fuel pump is under the tank, they're push pumps rather than pull pumps so need a gravity feed from the tank to work efficiently.
A lot of electric pump issues (i.e. burning out, etc) are due to this.

This pump is a pull pump.
I was having over fuelling problems with my twin ICT's and this pump is rated at 2.1 (ish) PSI. Also did not want to mess around with shortening the mech fuel pump pushrod.
