The fabric is made to measure and stitched. All I have to do is put some foam inside and install them!
There's are also a set of westy poppers included for the buddy seat. Very nice material!

Paul (myvanway69) had a nice Buddybox for me. Really sweet and nice material, it matches perfect with the rest of my interior!

My bumpers are also painted white-white now.
Just sorting out some foam materials and I can start with the upholstery!

Last weekend I went to Groezrock for the 15th! time! It's a very nice festival here in Belgium with some nice punkrock, hardcore and metalbands. This was my first time with the bus. I was tired of sleeping in a Decathlon tent and drinking some warm beers... (I'm getting ols I guess... :roll: )
It was again very nice! With a bunch of friends we claimed a nice campingspot and put our busses, caravans and tents over there. We had again the time of our live :lol:





In 2 weeks were going on a little trip to Brighton with the little fella!
Looking forward to it!

In a mean while I installed a Securon 3 point belt to fix the Recaro child seat in a proper way.

Also I fitted the childs cot.


Little Jef was very pleased with it!
I also fitted an extra net behind the front seats, because he's a real stuntman/explorer!

Hi Guys,

Last weekend we went to Brighton with the bus, miss V and the little fella.
It was the first "big" trip to get familiar with our "new" bus. She did very well, +/- 800km and never missed a beat!
The Dormobile roof is also a big win, especially with the little one!

We took the DFDS ferry in Duinkerken and arrived in Dover. Nice promo BTW, 39€ return!




Arrived In Dover we drove to Brighton along the A259 and went to the camping of the Caravan Club.
Very nice and very very clean camping!

It's about 10 minutes from the Brighton Marina and a 45min walk to the Brighton Pier.

The little one was very amused all the time, only the weather was not that good on saturday morning, so he had to make fun inside the bus...



In the afternoon the weather was better, so we went to Brighton (city, Pier, ...) Very nice walk along the seaside.



So we did some sightseeing, shopping, drinking some afternoon tea and then back to the bus.
Saturday night was a very cold night, +/- 4°C brrrrr


Sunday was a very nice day, but we had to catch the ferry at 16h...



For now I'm going to buy a oil temp gauge and a tacho, to keep a better eye on the engine.
She only needed 10 a 10,5l euro95 for 100km and there was no oil consumption at all!

So we're ready for a bigger trip in july! Where? We don't know it yet...

Nice one Humby.... Got to love a dormy, plenty of room!

I have done the same lighting in my one but the LED strips go across either side, makes it really nice lighting dont it, i've also put under seat lighting in to, looks really good, i recommend it!.
The westy interior looks good to mate, works well! The other thing i like about the Dormobile is the glass windows, nice and airy. Dont know if you know Dormobile are still going so you can buy all the roof parts still, which is a bonus!

Hi there,

This weekend we came back home from our holiday in France.

Here a small overview of the trip that we made:


A: Hemiksem (B)
B: Chimay (B)
C: Beaugency (F)
D: Biscarrosse (F)
E: La Palmyre (F)

I packed up the van, including our bikes and all the stuff for our little son of 11 months. I tought that women could have a bunch of stuff, but this little fella... Pfioew! :roll:
It was the first time that we made a big trip with him.

The awning had to be fitted on the roofrack


We started our trip in Chimay, at EBI5. This year it was (for us) not so good as the other editions, the weather, the mud... But after all we found a decent camping spot and had a good time!



Sunday we left the puddle and went to our first camping in Beaugency. A very nice village next to the Loire. .

A couple of years ago we also had a great night on this campingspot. The pizzeria right across the bridge is very very good!

After a good night's sleep we drove to Biscarrosse on the B roads, where we had our campingspot

It was a nice and cosy camping, but our reserved spot was not that good. We would have preferred a small lawn for the little fella... but there was a lot of sand, pine needles etc, not ideal for a small adventurer.
All other places with lawns were unfortunately occupied...

But the environment was stunning! Near the lake, a few km from the beach and lots of nice biking routes.

After a week we left for another beautiful village, La Palmyre. Very special place, because it is like a "headland".

Here we stayed on a super deluxe camping, with large pool and very good and clean facilities

The wading pool was perfect for the little one. He always wanted to play in the pool! Also the restaurant over there is a must!

This was our camping spot for a few days:


We had loads of fun, a lot of swimming, cycling, good food, a very, very nice stay




And then it was time to go home...
We now drove home fully on the highway, without any problem and without missing any beat!


and back home with lots of roadkill :
