import headlights ?

hello , i have a 1970 bus that was imported from sweden and i was wondering if i could change the lens of the current headlights to convert them to uk standards to save buying the whole unit which costs an arm and a leg

Are the headlight units on the vans not sealed items? My US import van's were. I bought UK headlights (manufactured by ring) from just kampers, don't think they were too expensive.

All you have to do is swap the front lenses for RHD ones and re adjust the reflectors at the rear using the screws and your done . If you pop to the local motor factors they usually sell 60 /65 watt Halogen bulbs in the specific Vw fitment and then on a dark night if you line your camper up against a wall you can adjust your bus headlights to get them somewhere near .
