now im all up for importing nice rust free busses but whats hapend to the import of beetles??ive been looking round for a shell at the mo and probably 95% of the importers dont even bother with bringing beetles in.now im sure its due to the fact theres not as much money in them. but i just think its a shame.

what do you think?

oh and if you know of a place i get get hold of a shell dont keep it to yourself

I was thinking about this not long ago, i realy want a 1303 (first car, dont ask) i guess if you asked an importer they would get you one as long as you pay them.

what you thinkng of?

im just after a late 68>shell at the mo,ive been looking for a few weeks and have sent out loads of emails, and only come across a 1302 shell, which is no good, shame they only wanted £300.

just wasent what i exspected,i thought it would be an easy thing to come across im sure it used to be????

That's exactly it, especially if your looking for a post 67 shell when you consider that the shipping cost for it would be four figures.
So that's why the boss only bothers bringing over solid, spot on early bugs.
(At the moment we have a 66, 55 oval and a 64 that's just been painted and is ready to drive away)
