Indicator switch rebuild

Anyone ever rebuilt one of these before?

I need to rebuild one of these (with a straight stalk) so that it will work with my wood rim wheel & boss.

Didnt want to ruin mine, so I "borrowed" haveacampers from the barn for a test run, however I cant seem to get it back together again!! :lol:
