Me too! - My wife's been wondering why my laptop hasn't been beeping every five minutes!

I checked and re-entered/saved my email but nothing? I am having to go to user cp and check my subscriptions to see if anyone has posted!

No private mail notifications....and I can't get mail to go off....it's sitting in my outbox. (Just mailed Johnny re fire kit delivery....did you get it??) :?

the mail stis in the outbox until its opened by the recipient now kind of like a read reciept of sorts.

were still working on the email issues, no ETA for a fix yet, sorry , sooner rather than later though i hope.

sorry guys i cant do anything about it at the moment , If mike can send me board email details to try to fix it. Its to do with the host blocking the server that handles the emails from the board to prevent hackers relaying spam through the board, sorry.

what mailserver are you using?

is this an 'ip' related issue? i had a similar problem with my forum and basically what happened is someone hacked into our mailserver and was sending spam from our 'ip' effectivly, then the ip was blacklisted.... ....some people recieved emails, some didn't?

if i try changing my email agress registered on here do you think it will work?

thanks Mike, and yes it is mail server issues, ISPs on most boards allow direct mail with the correct domain and un/pw etc. Mr Earlybay (mike) is sorting out the details so hopefully we should have mail soon.

Im crossing my fingers on this one but i think its fixed for the 5th time :roll:

can we have a guineapig? ive tested it and is working for me.
