Going down the road my seat springs are constantly sqeekin'?! What did you do? What have you done? What will quiet it down? Did you find the fix? Share!!! :D

Hi, mine was the same and also sagging a bit in the middle, so i did a quick fix/bodge, I had some spare foam underlay and I cut it to the shape of the seat base, I then took the seat out and unclipped some of the clips that hold the zig zag springs together, then you can feed the underlay between the horse hair and the springs, ( I put two layers of underlay), I also had a few vinyl floor tiles in the garage and cut these to the shape as well and then fed them between the underlay and the springs (bit fiddly but got there in the end).....then clipped all the zig zag springs together again, it sort of tied everything together, I am amazed at the difference it has made no squeak's or sagging and really comfy........that was three years ago and I haven't got round to doing it properly :lol: :lol: :oops:
