Not long to get it done then :shock:

Not long at all! Depending on how it goes I think I may have to get the interior back in quick and then remove it over winter to do the sound proofing and insulation I had planned. As long as there are no last minute hitches we should make it I hope :lol:

WOOHOO more pics and they involve paint :party0041: I've put a selection up here but theres many more on the midland paintwerks website http://www.midlandpaintwerks.co.uk/Adams-67-Westy/B35.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A nice repair on the front bumper mounting holes:

Front pillar pulled to get the right door gaps :shock: nice use of a strap :lol:

Pop top all repaired and painted. Judging by the damage to the rear section and the dents in the roof Stuart & Drew reckon it had a bang on there at some point in the past. Looking good now though :)

Well it's my birthday tomorrow (the big 3-0 :shock:) and Stuart and Drew have just given me an amazing present. Pictures of the van in paint! I haven't stopped grinning since I've seen them (I'm normally a miserable sod) :lol: 8) :D :D Here's my favourites but there are more on the site if anyone wants to see them.

Cheers mate, didn't realise you were nearly middle aged :lol: Bus will be at my dads a week on Saturday and then the following weekend as well so pop over if you have 10 mins spare. Failing that it'll be at the wedding 8)

Cheers fellas, I felt like a proper old bugger last night after cleaning up one of the westy windows. Aching back and arms :oops: A word of advice for any one who is thinking about polishing them up. Don't do it!! They take much longer than you think they will and are fiddly and awkward. 45 year old sun baked dirt isn't easy to remove! I've ran out of time now so I've had to compromise and make the outside shiny and the inside just clean. I've ended up with a shiny brushed aluminium effect rather than a super shiny finish, here's a before and after shot:
