Thanks for all the useful posts guys, im thinking I will leave the cover for now unless I find a cheapo argos one for the winter

With respect I'd have thought the concluion from all this is to avoid the cheap ones? Your call but one look at the front of my van would persuade you!

You are totally right, however, my bus currently needs a fair bit of work, especially with the panels, I just want to try and keep the worst off the van..

I think people with showroom quality paintjobs should spend the cash and get a more expensive cover as you say but I just want a tempory one for the winter and was going to spend that bit more IF the JK one turned out to be a worth-while buy which it seems it isnt so back to the original plan :?

Hi
I got a JK cover and if your expecting it to keep the worst of what our winter (and summer!) has to offer then you should look at a garage or simular, I got a protech shelter, admittedly im fortunate that my parents have room for it.

Yep if I had room I'd certainly have something like that! 8)

I'm hoping my dad will secure a spot in a barn soon with a local farmer, for my bus and his motorhome. :D

I have a JK cover (the 1 strap type) that blew off in strong winds last year when the strap came loose, so I will probably either refit it or buy a Pro-Tec. Trouble is they are so much money - are there any deals anywhere on them?

cheers
