John Maher engine

Hi there, does anyone here run a bus with a John Maher engine? I only ask as I was talking to him last week about building me a type four motor and I was wondering if anyone else has one. I know it will be a long time before I get it but I want to get some bodywork done, update the brakes and generally get ready for it.

From everything I've ever read/heard, the engines are beyond doubt. Just the wait to get it and possibly, difficult communications through the process.

I know a couple people with JMR engines, bullet proof but there is a wait

Thanks both. I am factoring on a 12 month wait so once I get the costs (as it’s a type 4 engine he’s building for me) then I reckon in 9 months after placing order. Fingers crossed [emoji106]

He is one of the best engine builders of VWAC engines possibly in the world, even in America he`s well known, so if you have the chance (and the money) to get one of his engines, go for it as you won`t regret it
