key stuck in 71

pulled into my driveway last night , attempted to turn the key off and its stuck in the ignition solid. won't turn forward or back more than a few degrees and won't pull out at all .

anyone ever deal with this before? i'm still a bus noob so i'm hoping this isn't the first time that this has ever happened . i'd rather know how to fix it than i would replace it .

I'd some real problems with my ignition last year. Can only suggest dismantle carefully, take the code from the barrel and get a new key cut according to the code. Worn keys can be a real problem. Dave dubkeys was where I got mine cut, and has made a great difference. I thought all the locks were tired - not true. Just the keys being a really poor fit for them
