I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this for me?
I have a knocking noise coming from the rear right handside, seems to get faster the quicker I drive and vise-versa. It doesnt start until Ive been driving for about 10 mins or so. When I dip the clutch and coast along, it stops. Help!

Sounds like a CV joint, the reason it goes away when coasting is the joint is not under load from the engine.

Its not a bad job to fit a new one or pair, the hardest part is getting the C clip off/on that holds the joint on the drive shaft

Release the inner clip and force some grease into the boot. Squish it into the joint by squeezing the boot. nine times out of ten this solves the noise problem. The joint is probably a bit worn but they go on for ever if they are greased.
