looking to see if any one knows of a good garage in my area, need to find a local garage to me in Luton Bedfordshire that will replace my fuel tank, i am a total novice at this and don't really have the know how or the space to drop an engine, to replace the tank, i understand this is the only way to get at it. just getting to much sludge/tar through the fuel lines and filter, causing it to stall out from fuel starvation. took all the hoses of last night and the're blocked, it didn't even drip from the tank and its nearly full. :( :( :(

I bet it would if you dared poke something up the pipe. Be ready to replace the pipe (ready installed with a new filter). That should get you to the garage and save you a fee for picking it up.

Hi

I have been using Doug "Fish" Mc Gregor for years, and can fully recommend him.

He is a mobile Aircooled VW Specialist, covering Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

His number is 07971708687

You might also want to take a look at his website.. http://www.vwfish.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Best of luck !!!
