In the process of ordering a few parts after scanning the various threads on here
Only 1 thing I've not checked is how do you mount the battery ?
Thers s no clamp and no one has mentioned how they did it
I guess it would need a bit of ply to protect the panel underneath too
Thanks
Matt

Mine had a clamp already in place

It's a snug fit but holds it secure

If you don't mind drilling a couple of holes in your battery tray you could use something similar to this:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_225569_langId_-1_categoryId_255205" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I used something like this for my leisure battery - just made sure I treated the holes with waxoil and check underneath the battery every now and again for rust.

Has anyone used a battery tray off a scrap car.? I was thinking it would protect the metalwork underneath as well

Yeah, I used the halfords clamp too. It ain't pretty but it does the job for mot time
