Slowly reconnecting the wires in my earlybay 70. Noticed on the master cylinder theres only one switch but the wiring has 2 connectors . Im guessing this will affect other parts working? Cheers

Hi Your master cylinder should have one of these "Brake light switch" notice two connectors for your two wires

hope this helps

Mine's the same, I plugged in one set of wires and all brake lights still work so I've left it be. I guess the second one is there from standard to act as a backup for the brake lights if one fails?

My 70 has two connector but i also have 2 switch . One for front brake and one for rear. This is for incase a line breaks and loose braking . The remaining brake will turn on your brake lights
