MOT

got MOT on monday horn not working . wire from horn not fixed to any thing its got a spade terminal with connector inside thats broken off , not sure but should this be connected to the base plate at the bottom of steering column thanks for any answers

I believe it it is supposed to be connected to a spade connector that is riveted to the outer steering column. I presume that is where the connector that is in the terminal you have.
