moustache bar to engine case bolt size

proper bolt dimensions for early bay mustache bar are:

(2) M10 x 70 mm bolts and (1) M8 x 55 mm

Despite I love VWH, any local bolt/fixings shop will have these in stock in either 8.8 or 10.8 strength for pennies.
