Hi all
I am new to the forum.
Bought this 71 Sunroof Deluxe from the Samba. Its on its way over from California so should arrive some time in January.
No working engine but the body appears mostly sound.
Looking forward to seeing her in the metal.

If you use photbucket copy the third line of code under your picture and post it on your forum pages. Drags it straight through.

Welcome and have another go putting up you images!

Looks like the trim is nice, but some work looks to be required :D

interesting colour scheme for your van, I like it

and a sunroof too, lucky you

Picked up the bus today, its really beautiful. Clean as a whistle underneath and nice straight body, only rust is the patch under the windscreen.

This is going to be fun.
Next need to fit an engine and get her Moted.
Didnt get any new pics yet, will try and sort that out soonest

Shipping was the most expensive part at £1136 all in, by container from Long Beach. The bus cost £800 (without a motor)
The Vat was £236.
I got the bus off "the samba". Really nice guy to deal with.

It needs a bit of cosmetic tidying, esp interior (seat coversandheadlining) and the sunroof wont function properly so there will be a fair bit of fiddling.
The most important part, the body work is rock solid and riust free. The sides are straight and there is no damage to the nose or rear.
