Good customer service from heritage rang on the Monday afternoon then received the right wheel nuts wed first thing  so was able to get the bus back on its wheels

No it's out of the way I could make a start on fitting my autocraft engineering tow bar, temporally put it on, just needed to elongate a couple of the holes to match my chassis  at least it goes on with no probs with my hideaway vs zorst, even though it's tight :msn4:

Will re fit it properly once I've touched up the paint on the holes and will cover the bits where it is contact with the chassis with wax oil

Finished the to today 8) first thing I noticed that some of the bolts supplied with the kit were too short, a quick call to autocraft and they saw the problem and sent me out the correct ones the following day 8)

Now it's all bolted up one thing I have noticed is that the bumper now sits about 25mm further back than it used to, I can't blame the vs zorst for this as even if it wasn't fitted I wouldn't be able to move it back on the adjustment as the bracket is already nearly touching the removable valance , one thing for sure is that you would be very unlucky to bend it  I've seen tow bars on 4x4's made out of thinner plate

I have also done the electrics, here's a few pics for you Paul on how I did it ;)

I used piggy back spades so that I didn't have to cut into my vans electrics 8)

And a dia off Google for the socket

Hubcaps or hardcore Shaun?!?! 8)

This is what I've just been thinking ive got to make my mind up before I have them powder coated as I've got to rivet the clips on, but I've got an idea for the hubcaps :msn4:

I know one of my work tools will come in handy somewhere on the bus

Used my analyser temp probes to check how accurate my oil temp gauge is and see when my sandwich stat kicks in (temp above is on tick over in the garage, and I connected the probs on backwards the return isn't hotter than the flow lol)

Went on a good run to get it up to temp and the stat is pretty accurate opens up to the oil cooler at 84c going to be handy in summer with the camplet on the back 8)

Nice work as always, dude 8)

If it were me, I'd run without hubcaps to show off what's underneath ;)
What colour are you going with the wheels? Quite fond of the colour they are now!

Might just be the picture angles (or me!) but those pipes look pretty exposed/close to the floor?

Cheers dude 8) Think I'm starting to like the no hubcap look 8)

That's what I've been thinking about colour :? Was thinking white, but now you've said that I'm thinking what rims in comercial L345 or L249 would look like :msn4:

Does look a bit low there doesn't it  but they're ok, but I'm going to clip them to the side of the engine support bar too 8)
