Thanks :D The beam was for both, as it was the tyres were rubbing on the arches and also catching the outer dog legs under extreme cornering under load  The beam has sorted that 8)

Cheers

Ok thanks for the info, looks like that's my next purchase then.

Once again sweet motor mate.

After a number of nudges and bends my front number plate surround snapped :(

Despite never having seen any others in a few years, I found another Seattle Metro frame on the Samba, not an exact match but close enough for now

So, I'm on my holidays! 8)

Nightmare leading up to it, I decided to raise the suspension for the trip before getting an MOT. I left it all a bit late and then went down with a virus the weekend before we left. I was semi conscious for a couple of days, lost half a stone in weight and had no MOT! With some help from Wally, the van got sorted and we packed up and left. We missed our Eurotunnel crossing by three hours due to a crash on the M25, after negotiating the additional £85 charge down to zero, we were away. At last!

Hoofed it down through France, turned left and ended up in Switzerland. Camping near Laussanne
