Thought I'd just put a few up-dated pics up.........
The alternator pulley decided to rip it'self apart after only 350 miles :evil:
Which in turn put a big groove in the alternator :evil:
I found an old original cast pulley buried in the depths of the garage, so fitted that and all is well with the world again - I've had to shim it out a bit though.....
I've also ditched the Bugpack Mondo exhaust system as the noise in the van was just too much of a drone. I've now fitted a stock Bug exhaust with modified late Bay tail pipes. It's much nicer in the bus now and has actually gained a bit of power!
I've also fitted slightly bigger tyres on the back which has really improved the gearing for motorway cruising. Anyway's here's a pic a friend took at a local classic car show a few weeks back. I'm still smiling about my Best In Show win at Dubs At The Castle too
