I've started to put the rear seats in place - Massive thanks to "The God Bus" & "sjc" for supplying the bits I needed ;)

Trial fitted my middle seats today, I've just got to paint the frames and fit them properly......

Also fitted the side step, which doesn't foul on my wonky driveway. Whether it stays there or not is another story..........

Believe it or not but a mate of mine painted it in his barn on his farm! He's in Swiss Valley, near Llanelli. I know a few guys with bodyshops in Swansea, it all depends on how deep your pockets are really.......

Spence,
I was hoping for a top quality job, can you recommed a guy for a quote? Your bus looks fantastic, a quality paint job.
I parents are in penclawdd - that's where the bus is.

You're more than welcome to pop in and have a look at my paint job, I'm only in Gorseinon ;) If I remember correctly, I think it cost about £1K. I can also give you the number of a guy with a top notch spray shop with heated booth etc......... I think he charged a guy roughly £4K to do a T4 in metallic.

loving your bus dude

to quote a earlyer post of yours, yes neptune blue tintops do indeed rule, especially 68s.(i too have a neptune blue 68)

do you mind if i ask what your suspension setup is?
i know your running K&L but are you running dropped spindles too?

matt

Cheers Matt :D

I've fitted a stock Splity beam and flipped spindles which I bought them from FBI in Swansea as they're only down the road from me it would have been rude not too

The bus could obviously go a lot lower if I fitted adjusters but then I wouldn't be able to get it in my garage due to the angle of my drive at home

Spence,
Thanks for the invitatation. I think I might just do that. 1k - it looks like a sperb job for that, very professional. My aim is to have it done in May or June. Your seats look very good.I bought a 3 seater (middle) from the samba, it was expensive! Keep up the good work, it's shaping up nicely.
