After not touching my van for 8 months due to buying my first house which needed major work that I have had to do all the work myself. Having mostly done now and wanting to get my life back. Atleast I now have a very large garage and plenty of room to move around. Need to know how to get motivated again? I think tidying up my new garage and getting the van out may get me going again. Il post some pics up soon of how it's looking and what's left to do. I think maybe tackling the suspension rebuild and engine rebuild getting it drivable again do the trick! Is busfreez the next show?

While you can get your new garage all painted out n organised, it'll make working on your bus easier n more enjoyable.

Welcome back by the way!! :D

Glad you got your van storage sorted, nothing like neighbors to be helpful. Maybe invite a load of patina buses around for a meet

Think making a new narrowed beam and fitting adjusters is a step in the right direction!

some excellent work going on there, love it :D I'm in the same boat as you atm, and working outside in the rain doesn't help! keep going dude!

Its been a long time coming but the house is fairly finshed and my garage in usable and all set up now. I have left the bodywork for now but i treated myself to a fancy new welder and a 150l compressor as I am going to paint the van myself. I decided to make a start on building my beam and rebuilding the engine.

Welcome back again!!
Good luck with painting your bus, if you get stuck with owt just giz a ring, I've painted a couple now

Fitting the beam adjusters and Spindles stripped ready for the transporterhaus treatment.

Engine all stripped for a refresh. Need to blank up the egr take offs in the heads too.

Adjusters all ready to be welded ended up mounting the adjusters 6mm higher than original height.
