And tried to replicate it on the other side

All panels now need to come off again to be cherry varnished then yacht varnished front & rear.

Hi!

Looking good that! Any tips you could offer, what colours are you using and products? I am about to do the same! Would appreciate some advise, I don't want to be doing it again!

Modelled by my youngest, Billy.

Cheers,

Alistair

nicely done. Getting there Lee.

Cheers Leon.

Is that a kit Alister, or did you make them all??
Last kit I got didn't fit too well, hence I've made them all this time, took loads longer like

Ronseal cherry varnish was on offer at B&Q  , yacht varnish was just some stuff I found in the garage  .

hi,

It was a kit, a few folk had used it, and AFAIK fits ok, some of the holes look a little large. I hope to sand and varnish with a nice colour to it, you used Cherry Varnish, then yatch varnish? Might give that a go....

Cheers,

Alistair

Last kit I got was cheap, say no more!

Cherry varnish is to try n make it match the dark wood pattern on my Berlin interior a bit better! It's more of a stain? Than a varnish I think!!

Then yacht varnish as it's thick and hard wearing.
It's not going on very well with my el cheapo brush set mind!
Might buy a nice Harris brush?
Or spray it on

Paul, van WILL BE READY by next season!!
