First thing I noticed was a tinware screw had snapped so I drilled it a bit & managed to get it out :D

Then I spent far too long fretting & researching end float & oil seals on YouTube etc, then I eventually fitted the shims, changed the flywheel oil seal, main oil seal & put the flywheel on.

Also I managed to snap up this little bargain off the snap on dealer, a gen, OG, NOS, 1947, hack worth' idiot stick!!
Not a lot if people are actually even allowed these, but he said cos I'm special, I can have one for only £49.99 + vat @ 25%!!!!!
Not bad eh??

Yes I know there's no carb, that's to make it easier to fit in the hole!!!, ok??

Then last neet Mr Tudor Rose came around & checked the tappets for me as it is black magic.
Fact.
I have attempted it before but as most people know , this was what led to the demise of my splitty on harewood house lawn
So I just let Carl do it, much easier :D

Then we chucked it in!

I dropped a bollick by bolting all the tinware together( see top pic) without the very back tin in place, but that actually made it a bit easier, oh & I had no petrol, that made it a bit harder

BUT ITS IN & RUNNING :party0003:

I've ordered a push rod etc for the mech fuel pump from Jk, but it's not coming till next week so it's running on the elec fuel pump at the minute, which has now decided to stop acting its self

As some people may have spotted I need to change the manifold gaskets & a few other stuff & Darren is going to finish the wiring etc, but it's defo getting there noo, Shirley????

8) 8) hopeing to get the engine back in mine tomorrow bud :D need to find a pair of heat exchangers tho .thought I was going to beat you  .looking good tho
