Heres some more pictures from the weekend I didnt make much on the car, cause i need to clean up a bit I had a better camera with me this time, and tried to take some better pics
I saw a thread in here with clean engines, and i think my take the last possible score of all haha
Yeah thats a lot Work, but i think these cars are pretty easy.. the bottom of the car is the main frame, some beams and those plates in bottom.. thats it.. it takes time, but is not that hard to get done if you have a little patience
im thinking of making a good deal with the JK boys, with a complete list of metalparts, and go for that as the first.. a fast calculate tells me i need parts for about £750.. but there is allways some more Work to be done when you tear it appart but im educated smith and have acces to a lot of tools, so a lot can be made by my self
Oh, and the car is born without seatbelts, and in DK its allowed to drive without them, if the truck is before 1. July 1969 (mine is 20. Feb. 1969)! Pretty cool! And if you put seatbelts in the car its not allowed to take them out again
Its a pretty good thingto have, but i think its a little cool that it doesnt have em no more tickets for driving without
But.. im gonna eat my breakfast now, and go see the car.. im about to make a chassis roll over thing.. pretty annoying to crawl around under the car and cant see anything (except from light comming thru all the rust holes)
Same here in Holland regarding the seatbelts. I don't have any either. It always feels a bit awkard when you reach back and realize there aren't any.
I have one lap belt for my daughter on the rear seat.
Actually i gonna use this for my Company when its done im not gonna drive that much, so i'd think it would be fun to use it
But we have some rules in Denmark for using cars in a Company.. its allowed to use your private car as companycar, and get some money pr. KM (think its around £0.40 pr KM), but its not allowed to use your companycar for private use So its gonna be my private car i will put some stickers on (maybe magnets) and use that way
The air goes in and any particles that come in with it stick in the oil, cleaning the air before it enters your carb. The orange line indicates the fill level. From what I hear if it is properly set up it works better than the paper filter types.
Got bored last time i was at the farm where my car is parked, so i began to cut down the corner.. last owner had done a bit of metal Work, and deserves to be beaten up with i skillgrinder.. he used galvanized steel to fix up rust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The right rear corner was all wrong, and i need a complete rearcorner for a T2A pickup, so if one of you guys have one, please sell it to me!
