narrowed beams - which one?

Hi, im looking into getting a new adjustable and narrowed beam for my '72 bay i've got balljoint drop spindles at the moment so i wana keep with the balljoint set up, im probably not gona go low enough to warrant a link pin set up for now anyway, What beams do people recommend? slamwerks? i found a project01 beam on ebay that looks nice? how narrow do i go?

loadsa questions i know but i want to make sure i get something good seeing as its the most i can afford to spend on my bus for a while!

The most popular seem to be slamwerks or T2D, both are priced similarly and offered in 2 or 4 inch narrowness.

i like my creative one but will be getting rid of it once transporter hauz fetch one out .... creative ones only down fall is the big square bits at the bottom catch on the floor, but can just grind them off

I'm buying a new stock kinky link beam from Nick Rackham on here and Dan Leech at Buswerx is gonna weld in some adjusters, narrow it by 5 inches and make some end plates for it :-D

I am running a slamwerks beam on my Early Bay and it drives mint. Quality of the beam is great too, welds are nice and neat and very well put together.

I have the creative weedeater 1 and its a great beam, but i to have ground down the squareness of the plates on the bottom.

Slamwerks would be next in line for me if i need a new one :mrgreen:
