'Make sure you get a OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part if you can. The cylinders were made by either ATE or Bilsteine, they're not cheap but the price reflects the quality.''

go to "catalogues" on the left and then "replacement parts online", then "vehicles" (at top of page), then "VW" then "further models".

i couldn't use your last link sorry !!

i have had a look but it gives no price

i have been told by vw heritage that it is £99.95 deliverd but will be here in two week

so i was going to order from them as no one else has them in either

Try GSFs e-bay shop. I'm sure I saw one real cheap on there the other day.

OR,

buy a reseal kit (approx 10 GBP) from Nelson Stokes in Cornwall.

Fixed mine with one a couple of years back.

Cheers

James
