Anyone recommend a good one? I need to have a 240V mains hook up installed.
I'm in Surrey, near Woking.

You're right. You need an approved electrician who can certify the installation to Section 721 (Electrical Installations in Caravans and Motor Caravans) of BS 7671:2008 (Amendment 1 2011).
 
Rules and regs aside - you need someone who is competent to provide a safe installation.
Most DIYers won't have invested in the qualifications, test equipment and accreditation a professional sparks has.
And that doesn't mean they'll charge you a fortune, the sparks I know won't any way, the time they spend doing the job properly will be a lot less than someone that doesn't know what they're doing ;)
