If i can sell the MG want to get the van in the garage. Off to find out nxt week if i can extend the garage by 5ft (only requires the door moving out Further).

If i can do this i need to lower the van by about 4 inches 5 max.
What is the best way of doing the front anr rear.
If the MG goes will have about £600 to play with lowering the van, the rest will do the garage and new doors/slider for the van.

Have to get rid of the MG first.

If you want to go the narrowed route the weedeater I'm selling will get you down about 4" ;)

No.

Have 3 catnic thinhys going into the garage the one above the door is about 1ft higher than the van, the first is about the same, the middle one is about 4 inches below the pop top, :(

You can just work it out in front of the garage door.

There wont be any head room to jack up the van when in the garage.

I see your problem now. Take the fibreglass boat off the roof rack, it should go in then

WHS^^^ get that boat on the pond where it belongs fella, when you want to go fishing stick it back on....

what roof is that?

Its a super Viking conversion. One of the uglyist roof around but great for space when you 2 children, so it stays. Only have seen on late bays and something called a T25 :?: :?:

Good point a T25 would have been much worse,

Is the Beetle yours? the wife wants one but not sure how much room is in the back with 2 little kids, youngest is only 3. I told the wife she might get blown out the back when the top is down  she gone right off the idea now

Isnt there a photo somwhere of a similar conversion slammed on its ass, that looks cool as!

Tub it and air ride the thing, then slide in with ease ;)

Yep tis mine. Great fun with the roof down. Have 2 children 8 and 10 plenty of room in the rear, but they get a bit blown about in the rear. But then we dont have the weather that much.

Drove home the other night, no children done about 100 miles with the roof down, got somne strange looks cos it was dark.
