New furflex fitting

Hello all
I bought new furflex for my cab doors. When I took the old stuff out there were some metal clips attached that looked like they were holding the chrome strip in place. Do these go on to the new furflex? I tried them on it but the new furflex wouldn't fit into the window apperture properly with them on. Without the clips when I wind the window down the furflex comes with the glass!

Use the clips to hold the trim in place, then fit the fur to the clips.
Tip - if you have the window out, prebend the corner around the glass.

I got mine from c&c and could not get them to fit(too big),sent them back for some others that also never fitted and they told me to fit them without the clips?got another set from Status and fitted a treat.

Mine is from GSF and it is much bigger than the stuff I removed. I tried putting the clips in the trim and attaching the furflex but it would not fit in the gap and allow the window to close! I may look at some at stanford to see if I can get any smaller stuff.....and after todays rain a door seal......
