New Rancho Gearbox Fitting Query

Got one from VWH.

However, the 2 studs for the gearbox mount don't appear to be screwed in fully, therefore I can't mount the bracket tightly at all. There's probably 10mm of the thread still out, then the unthreaded bit, the the rest of the thread. Is it supposed to be like this, or does it need screwing more. If so, what's best way to do it?

I wound them out with mole grips used shorter bolts with spring and flat washers on mine

Wrong studs installed. They're supposed to be M10x35 mm, fully threaded.

Ah right, that makes sense. So 35mm is the full length of the stud in total then.

What's the best way to remove? Double nuts and wind out?

And what's the best way to fit - best to use a dab of thread lock too?

Through luck, I've never had to to do studs before!
