Hey folks. Something that has grabbed my attention very recently is new turn key engines. Who has actually bought one and what are your experiences with them ? Good , bad erc. They are very expensive but so tempting and an investment maybe well when i can eventually afford one ha. šŸ¤™

Iā€™ll 2nd the vote for Hector Howe, heā€™s a very close friend of mine and an awesome engine builder. Me and him work together building and installing engines in both bugs & buses ranging from bone stock 1200ā€™s to big cc race motors including the 2276 nitrous motor in my own 1970 bus.

I used VW Engine Co turnkey service for my new 1776 about 18 months ago and very pleased with their service and they did a great job of renovating the tinwear etc and neatly routing and fixing pipe work and wiring.
My bus starts and runs like a dream now šŸ˜Š

Another one for VW engine company. Spoke to them at Camperjam about needs, followed up after on the phone and their service and customer attention was brilliant. As above its a case of doing your homework before commiting.
