Hi, just bought myself a 70 early bay tin top. It's just come in from Arizona. Pretty solid, on the road and bare in the back so just what I was after.

Right my dilema is:

I love low stuff but my mrs and dog don't. I've got a mk1 caddy on the deck but it's got to the stage where my dog shakes like fuck when he goes in it and my mrs isn't a massive fan (she hates it) :whip:

So need to know where is the balance lies. I don't mind spending to get the right set up but don't want to have to do it twice.

Looking for no bangs and crashes and grinding the road and minor speedbumps but as decent a stance as I can get.

I'm loving the buses on 17" Porsche rims but at the mo would consider running staggered 15s or even my stock 14" wide 5s with original hubcaps.

Is anyone else in this position and does anyone have any pics and details of their setup that I can see. Cheers

Lowered = cool looks
STD = comfort & no bumps or grinds
I think we all just need some help justifying the cool looks?

If you're young and single - 2 splines +

If you're old and seperated - 2 splines

But if you're married - 1 spline if you're lucky

I swear by red 9 design, take a look at their easy rider kit. Very cool look and very very comfy ride and also adjustable height and damper ;)

Slamwerks 4.5" narrowed King and Link beam, dropped spindles and slight chassis notching at the front
Slamwerks adjustable spring plates, set two splines down on the rear with rear chassis notching
trimmed engine support bar
polished American Eagle five spokes with 165/50-15 fronts and 185/65-15 rears
i have driven this set up all over the country and Europe, with my family, Missus, Child, Dog etc
i have also driven it to shows loaded with parts and our trade stand, it doesn't hit the floor, it is very smooth and i would recomend this set up to anyone who wants to go low.
try and get a go in a few different buses with different set ups before you make your decision.
hope this helps
