mmmm curtains are loud

looks like a hefty sound system

yeah sometimes i can't hear the system for the curtains!!

the sounds aren't all that loud to be honest and one of the 6x9's has blown. gonna investigate further when i have time as i'm not sure if the amps been set up properly as the sub doesn't perform how i would have thought it should.

wasn't keen on the wheels to begin with but i must admit they're growing on me. really fancy some fuchs though...........

when you close the door turn the handle as far upright as it will go which pulls the door in tight into a locking position, does this make a difference?

There are 3 or 4 good manuals, most recommend John Muir - how to keep your volkswagen alive, for mechanicals, theres Haynes and also Bentley. I prefer Bentley but the Haynes is also good, and John Muir is handy to have for trouble shooting engine problems

yeah, i've tried that with the door handle but it does nothing. could it be the locking mechanism that needs replacing?

cheers for the advice on the manuals, i'll get one bought. really looking forward to tackling all the jobs myself. shoud be fun as i have the mechanical expertise of a newborn!!

hello and welcome. that is a real nice bus. we looked at that and were so very tempted ! but it was the top of our budget, so went for something for less money so we had some to throw at it! look forward to seeing it at vanfest.

look forward to seeing you mate! was the top of our budget too tbh, but thought if we got it we could save up over the winter and do odds and ends when funds allowed.....

cheers mate. i'm guessing you saw the price from the ad stuck to her window? we got her considerably cheaper than that!

been trying to get in touch with the guy who did the resto to get the colour code but no luck as yet
