Fitted a new Oil cooler pipe on my Van last night. When i came to start the van the battery was flat, it turned over but there was not enough power for it to fire up and so it eventually died. took the battery out and tested it (charger said 80 % charged)
Fitted Battery back in and decided to jump start it and there was nothing at all. it is still like that now with no power at all or lights illuminted when i turn the key. can't hear the fuel pump. I have checked all fuses and all the wiring.
Any ideas on what else i can check please?

sounds like the ignition. i would start with the starter motor. are you getting a click? if not the solenoid is likely fried.
