Yes, up until and including 1972 you are allowed to display black & white/ silver plates

I have white on black, square rear and rectangle front. I think you can have silver too but in my opinion you have something like this to "carry it off"!!

Yes it does, on a bay front is usually rectangular and the rear square to fit on the engine lid.

any independent motor factors, not Halfords and the like, will be able to help. mine cost about "£20 for two. normally have to order them but only take a couple of days
