Seat turned out canny, replaced the coconut/horsehair padding, stuff under it for springs and painted the frame. Used stainless allenhead bolts for the two halfs.
Cocked up one little side but wont notice it hopefully
Better than it was anyway
Engine in
Fitted fuel lines
Filled gearbox with oil and fitted vacuum hose/valve
Gonna adjust clutch and start on the rear electrics tommorow if I have time
Got a passenger seat as well cheap off Steve
Had like 3 covers over each other!, stripped it. Couple springs broke so on fixing them now before paint. Not the best seat but was cheap and will repair nice
Fitted new throttle tube today, Evie inspecting it
Repaired springs on seat then painted
Fitted exhaust and hooked up carb
The bus started ok, so thought I'd test the gears. Worked so took it for a spin round the estate!
Works fine, need carb adjusted and the clutch pedal adjusting but otherwise drives fine. Not had it over 20mph though. Well happy anyway
Tested the Dynamo and it's charging the battery so happy too as never tested the dynamo, just changed the brushes.
I'm not sure if my regulator is ok or if there's a bulb out in the dash as the generator light doesn't light up when you switch the ignition on. All the others are fine.
Still in the grand scheme of things happy with today's progress.
Skint now though so won't be any mots anytime soon still gives me time to iron out the little issues
