Hi

I have this in my ’75 panel van that Im fixing up. Dont know if it works, really havent tried or even have the know how about how to start it.
Would it be wise to try and get it working, or are there better systems for decent money?

The bus is empty and will be built in to a camper in april. Wont be driving in cold temperatures but I hate being cold..and even summer in Sweden can be chilly.
Maybe something that can be combined with a kitchen solution?
All advices are welcome 🙂

Nice! An original Erberspacher heater. I’d get it serviced or checked and use it.
If possible, that would be awesome. I’ll have to investigate it more and see if it even starts. And how?! Cables go to the fuse box that’s all I got so far.

There are service centres around where you can get them fixed, might be worth finding your local one. I'm not sure about your particular unit but the ones produced in the 90s have an ECU that causes issues, should imagine this one is a little more basic in its operation

Just got Word from a service center that there no longer are parts for this old one, so service not possible 😓

I’m going to see if I can get it running to start with…just need to locate the “on-switch”.
