Yay, front manky rotten section taken out today, it'll be completed on Tuesday then the van will get a lower half respray, cool. 8)

Just need to find a big old shiny VW badge now.............

Trust me, once we've patched up all the new *real metal* bits the bus is going in to some friends to dunk it in waxoyl lol. :lol:

Really quite easy to do, mind, the rust wasn't anywhere near as bad as first thought, plenty of good metal behind the rotten attach the new panel too, phew!!! 8)

No, a friend is doing all the hard work, i've a grinder and can do so much, but the welding was done by him (and the grinding though) and was quite straightforward. That was the worst of the tin worm, she's a pretty good old girl to be honest.

I'll do the filling and sanding down stuff, and the headlamp bowl that needs sorting. 8)
