Hi All

Need to renew my rear offside out rigger and jackpoint plus repair inner sill
for MOT. Any tips on how best to cut off teh old bits or is a case of hack off with grinder,
cutting discs hammer and chisel...

Yep! get rid of ALL the rust, if you over plate it will only rust out the new panels. That old phrase, do it once, do it right is very true with rust repair.
 
Agreed however getting the old off is proving a PITA. I cut a section out and tried chiselling but the spot welds are holding fast. Thinking I will cut off with a 1mm disc as close as poss
to the flanges and then grind back. And there's me thinking this would be a stroll in the park.
