I'm trying to find out if I have the right drop arm for an Early Bay:
It has 30012 K written on it.
Any ideas.

can you explain what you mean by drop arm and I will have a look on vagcat.com for you. Is it the tie rod that connects the steering to the beam?

this is the same for 68 on and looks like VW still sell it.
I guess the part you have is aftermarket and its the after markets suppliers part number, all VW part numbers are 6 digit except fastners. 211.885.XXX.A (being a rear seat part number XXX.885.XXX denotes rear seat, XXX.881.XXX denotes front seats etc etc), the suffix is a derivative or and engineering upgrade ie issue A going to issue B. (sorry to boar you).

Haveacampers has 12580 on it next to the vw symbol & a couple of other characters that are unreadable 180 degrees round.
Deffo an early bay box can take pics give dimensions if that helps?
EDIT: its off a RHD bus if that makes any difference???

Just occurred to me that rather than just taking measurements off this one haveacamper is probably selling it anyway......
