Pop Tops... Concertina vs. Not?

Hallo!

Our new bay has a (rather shabby) concertina devon pop canvas. We are looking to buy a new one, however I was wondering if we are able to fit a none concertina one to it? Are the fittings etc different or can i do a straight swap?

I'm new here & to bays! We pick up our very first one on Sunday, so you may see a lot of (hopefully not too) silly questions

I fitted a non concertina one. Screws were a sod to get out and I drilled out the rivets, I have replaced the rivets with stainless steel bolts, and stainless steel screws from a chandlery eg boat supplies. It is annoying sometimes to have to poke in the edges of the pop top. One day I may go for the concertina one. Captain tolleys creeping crack cure as well to water proof the bolts and used my wife's hole maker for sewing.

Not the only way and others will have solutions too.
