Unfortunately you will have to use an image hosting site.
The storage space that would be required if we all uploaded our pictures straight to the forum would be phenomenal. Web storage ain't cheap!

If the pictures are VW related you can use the samba.com to host your images rather than photobucket and the like. That way the images remain permanently on the samba site, accessible to and for the benefit of all.
