1972 Crossover year LHD Riviera Poptop model that is missing it's original interior but comes with a later Westfalia cabinets as seen in the pics. Cabinets are in average condition with chips, some delamination in areas, but a good start. Poptop canvas is complete but needs a good soapy wash as does small headliner area over front cab.
Body : Nose has been hit, has some bondo, I reached in from the inside and popped out a nice dent but needs bondo/filler removed and done properly. Front floors have some rust.
Driver rocker has some bubbling in areas but doesn't appear to be going through. Passenger rocker looks good. Driver rear corner looks solid, passenger rear corner has filler, looks like no attempt to pop out dent just filled in and then redented. see pics inside of corners from engine compartment.
Roof and gutters are solid. Lines down the side are solid, bus is straight aside from these dents. Doglegs look good as well. Windshield area looks great too. Jackpoints and underneath look solid.
Mechanically:
Engine compression was 110-120 on all 4 cylinders. don't know much about this van mechanically, haven't driven it myself, but at least the compression is good. Front brake was frozen, opened the bleeder and she released, I reccommend a complete brake go through as stopping is always cool!
A great price, includes transport to Tilbury or thamesport. all duties, taxes, unloading fees, etc. are buyers responsibility. Please check out the forum on here, or I can refer you to some professional shops there in the UK that can handle all your importing needs as well as restoration work.
Delivery to Derbyshire is an extra 300 pounds but you'll save on some of the other fees. VAT is based on your Bill of Sale price and shipping.
