Well hello there,

My name is Marcin and just this weekend I bought a 1969 Bay. This is a 2 owner bay and well I will be the third. Buying if from a older couple who drove it around to camp in around the country. It has been sitting for a year as her husband had a stroke and developed dementia. And she cant drive it, so she decided to sell it.

It has all of the original tool kit, mesh screens, everything is in GREAT shape. Has some surface rust and is all original. The passenger door on the bottom that is just surface rust.

Sorry for all of the pictures.

Time for a little update.

Changed the gear fluid in the transmission (it was nasty)
adjusted parking brake cables
took out sapphire radio to add a jack to it (for mp3 player)
put new SS braided Goodridge lines on

Here are some pictures of the brake lines

They went on like a charm

They include a silicone sleeve right here

These two I had to pull a bit on the metal hard line to get it to connect as the fitting they use are shorter then original, but when I looked at the back where the hard lines came from it was not a problem at all to do that.

Nice solid original bus and coming together nicely.

$800 is such a bargain.

I suspect it was not only the husband that was suffering from dementia.
