Q for those who know every inch of an EB!!!

when I stripped Doris down,I cleaned,bagged and stored everything. things that were to be replaced I made a note of to go on my shopping list.

When stripping the slider & mech down,I've got written here 'slider handle-bump stop'. the trouble is I don't know what that is now..anyone got an idea of what I might of meant?
I was particular to write an accurate description of all I removed,so I know I don't mean 'slider catch' or 'seal' for example. If there is a rubber stopper on the end of the actual handle mechanism/case that would make sense.
any ideas? :?

Probably wrong but the only things I could think off were the rubbers on hadle mechanism and catch..........

P.S. I havent forgotten that I promised you a sketch with Dormy interior layout dimensions on - I'll try and get it sorted this week. Andy

Thanks chaps for your suggestions,I've dug my door mech out and I think, Andy, you're right. Its missing the upper and lower buffers around the catch.so now, I have to find some!
