You'll prob get fleeced for postage, it'd gone crazy in the last year or so.

Sent a rear bumper+irons from London to Manchester with TNT (on-line booking) for 13quid
most courier companies have max length of parcels of 1.5m

Couriers are afraid of water though...

Junglemod/Danz,cheers for the replies guys. They're very hard to get over here and I know I'll get fleeced on postage which is why I have to ask the big one. What sort of money you guys after for them.Cheers.

If a new Brazil bumper would do you they're €95 from vwspares.ie

doc,

go to senditnow.com (subsidury of parcelforce) max price on a bumper would be £13 if under 30KGs from anywhere on the Mainland UK to anywhere in N.Ireland.

I've had 4 wheels with tyres posted for £26. You can arrange the pickup and collection yourself, dead easy and dead cheap, all online. I definitely recommend them for mainland to NI deliveries.

what are you restoring? i might nip over for a look, im near moira :D

Just to let you know that what Harlequin said above anout the 1.5m max length is correct. I bought the bumper off Harlequin and contacted "Send it Now" but was told max length they could handle was 1.5m (rear bumper is about 1.76m from memory). The courier I used was Interparcel ( http://www.interparcel.com/quote/) who do not have the length restriction. They actually use a range of mainstream couriers (in my case TNT). It cost me £12.91 for a bumper with the irons removed and taped to it. I have just checked cost on a "like for like" basis on their website and it would be £33 + VAT (£38.78) to Northern Ireland. I even reduced the weight from 10Kg in my case to 8Kg (if there were no irons) - same price!

Don't know if anyone else is cheaper to NI but Interparcel were certainly good for mainland UK

Hope this helps :)
