I have just got over a bit of a problem and would like to share my experience to help anyone with the same problem.
one of my rear hubs had severe play in the bearing housing which was allowing the outer race to spin in the hub. it had been braised previously, obviously to hold the race, but it was getting bad, after phoning around it seems a fairly common problem but replacement hubs are thin on the ground for the 68 model. I took it to a motor engineers who rebored and sleeved the hub including the recess for the circlip, the result is a like new hub for £115 which I am well pleased with. the engineers are Alex carr in hull.
